Terms & Conditions
- Toree Love (the practitioner) will provide coaching and mentoring tailored to the individual needs of the Client, focusing on goals that the client identifies. These sessions will be highly interactive, based on the principles of EFT and Somatic Experiencing which include, and are not limited to; tapping, shaking, breath work, active listening, feedback, and coaching to facilitate healing and authentic expression.
- There will be assignments between sessions, which are expected to be completed by the Client in a timely manner for the maximum value of the sessions.
- Somatic therapy is a partnership focused on developing the client’s awareness and skills in order to help the Client identify and achieve his/her goals. In these conversations, the practitioner will be direct and honest and expects the Client to do the same. The success of the engagement depends upon the Client’s commitment and openness to the process and follow-through of directions. If the Client believes that the therapy is not working as desired, the Client agrees to communicate this to the practitioner.
- The Client is held to a high standard of responsibility and accountability. Accordingly, the Client is expected to be resourceful and take full responsibility for doing the work to achieve the desired results. One of the major benefits of therapy is the opportunity to be held accountable for promises and the Client agreements are to keep their promises and to be in communication if they are not going to keep them for any reason, and to request coaching at that time.
- EFT and somatic therapy does not treat illness or pathology. The Client understands that the practitioner is not a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, or other medical or mental health professional. The Client will consult his/her psychiatrist or medical doctor about any questions about his/her physical or mental health.
- Client has stated all medical conditions that he/she is aware of and will update practitioner on any changes in his/her health status.
- Client and practitioner agree that if one of them is unable to attend a scheduled meeting, he/she will give the other at least 24 hours notice unless there is a sudden illness or emergency. If the Client cancels a meeting with less than 24 hours notice for reasons other than sudden illness or emergency, the Client forfeits the session. The Client and practitioner agree to reschedule all other canceled meetings. If it is less than 24 hours, the practitioner requests you also text 619-348-5523.
- Client agrees to show up sober during the sessions and not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, psychedelics that could alter his/her judgment.
- If a trigger arises during a session, the Client agrees to bring it up to the practitioner and to process the trigger either during the session or a subsequent session. Effective tools such as non-violent communication process will be used to move past emotional triggers.
- The Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results arising out of or resulting from the client-practitioner relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the practitioner. As such, the Client agrees that the practitioner is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the practitioner.
- The Client agrees to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which he/she might incur as a result of participating in this experience. If, however, he/she observes any unusual significant hazard during their participation, they will take full responsibility and remove themselves from participation.
- I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and convent not to sue Toree Love for injury or death caused by her negligence or other acts.
- The Client is responsible for his/her own decisions, actions, and results. The Client agrees to hold Toree Love free from all liability for any action, advice, consultation, and results, or adverse situations resulting directly or indirectly from practitioner-related communications between the parties, including but not limited to any losses caused by any negligence on the part of Toree Love.
- The parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute that arises. The parties further agree any dispute not resolved through the good faith efforts of the parties will be determined by submission to arbitration as provided by California law, and not by a lawsuit or resort to court process except as state and federal law provides for judicial review of arbitration proceedings. Both parties to this contract, by entering into it, are giving up their constitutional right to have any such dispute decided in a court of law before a jury, and instead are accepting the use of arbitration.
- The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Toree Love and her agents, officers, and employees from and against any and all liability or expense, including defense costs and legal fees incurred in connection with claims for damages of any nature whatsoever including but not limited to bodily injury, death, personal injury, financial or business losses, worker’s compensation, past or future lost earnings, damage to reputation, or property damage arising from performance or failure to perform obligations hereunder. Toree Love, the practitioner shall not be liable for any damages, loss, cost or expenses, including incidental or consequential damages, of Client
- The practitioner will maintain confidentiality to the extent permitted by law, unless (1) the Client divulges information about illegal activities or if the information is relevant to any legal action concerning this engagement or (2) the practitioner seeks guidance from another practitioner in order to better serve the Client. The Client understands that the practitioner-client relationship is not privileged under law and information regarding the client could be subpoenaed via the practitioner.
- Toree Love, the practitioner, does not offer refunds on services. This program is a non-refundable service. Unused sessions due to quitting the program or not scheduling within the time frame of the agreement are not eligible for refund, credit, or transfer.
- The practitioner reserves the right to change, modify or cancel any programs as considered necessary. Any such change will be made in consultation with the Client.
- I agree to the cancellation policy; a 24 hours notice for cancellations is required or I will be billed for the session.
- I understand that packages (1, 3, or 6 months) begin on my first session and expire 1, 3, or 6 months to the date. (Example; 1 month package purchased on 2/3 with first session on 2/6; the package will expire 3/6) I understand that I will not get a refund for any unused sessions.
- By entering into an Agreement either through signing this Agreement with Toree Love or by paying any amount to the practitioner, the Client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions as set out above.
